The Problem
Cloud technology is a growing technology many companies are utilizing to integrate data and make everyday business functionalities seamless and easy by managing business functions on one platform. With companies like Amazon, Microsoft, and Oracle with similar cloud products on the market, it forced HPE to be innovative and search for ways to scale its GreenLake product.
The Goal
Enhance the GreenLake platform making it more intuitive for users to identify issues and make quick decisions to mitigate those issues within their cloud platform.
My Role
Lead UX Designer and Interaction Designer. Strategize the approach to the GreenLake platform enhancement.

During user interview sessions, users wanted the ability to see the closest locations. They also needed the ability to add their locations for use cases of traveling.
Takeaways
- Impact: The enhancement of the GreenLake app allows users to use their dashboard to identify issues in real-time to make resolving issues quicker.
- What I learned: I learned that having data readily available and being able to see it at a glance increases efficiency and mitigates issues before they occur.
Next Steps
- First: Allow 3 to 5 months after the app is live and gather data from users to identify areas of improvement.
- Second: Add more platform selections to make navigating between platforms seamless for better systems management for users.
